Clean Water for All God’s Children
Objective:
to reinforce the idea that God uses water for physical needs
Suggested Game:
“Clean Water Catch” You’ll need a 1-gallon plastic jug with handle, bottom cut out to
make a catcher, for each child. In pairs, the children try to see how many times they can
toss a water balloon back and forth without breaking it. Highest number of catches wins.
Ask the children to imagine how difficult it would be if they couldn’t depend upon their
water source – sometimes the water gets there, but sometimes something ‘breaks’ (water
lines break frequently in developing countries, leaving people without water for days).
