A native Nashvillian, Russell Davis is one of Nashville's most accomplished accompanists, working in a wide array of artists and styles. Davis has produced over twenty recording projects for vocal and instrumental artists including five solo projects and is a featured artist on the Green Hill Music roster. He was the music director for the music theater program at Belmont University where he was a vocal coach and accompanist, and currently serves as accompanist for Tennessee Repertory Theater, Nashville Children's Theater, Harpeth Hall, Oak Hill, and University Schools.

He is the keyboardist for Second Presbyterian Church and Temple Ohabai Shalom of Nashville. Russell has also been a music director for Celebrity and Norwegian Cruise lines and is a featured artist/accompanist for the International Children's CrossRoads Music Festival held annually at Opryland. He has performed with diverse artists such as Amy Grant, Ronnie Milsap, Colin Raye and Broadway's Sutton Foster. His music was featured in the movie "Four Christmases". Russell released his 5th solo CD in 2010 titled "Stolen Time".
