NYC-native Chris Donohue is a bassist, producer, and platinum-selling songwriter who has recorded and performed with a diverse array of artists such as Tom Jones, Emmylou Harris, Buddy Miller, Dave Matthews, Patty Griffin, Ben Folds, Robert Plant, Steve Martin, Pete Seeger, Gillian Welch, Lyle Lovett, Arlo Guthrie, The Civil Wars, Steve Earle, Elvis Costello, Solomon Burke, Shawn Colvin, and Thelonious Monk, Jr.

Chris composes music for media (ABC Network, JWT New York, iV Music Group, EPIX HD), has performed regularly as part of Lincoln Center's "Meet The Artist" Series, and is a co-founder of Coal Train Railroad, a jazz project for children.

He lives with his wife, the vocal coach and performer Laura Donohue, their two daughters, and an obstinate cattle-dog in a funky old East Nashville house with peeling paint.
